Fears Archive - 1930 rectangular wrist watch

Our limited edition Archival 1930 watch is a proportional recreation of this watch that we released in 1930.

Its rectangular case and dial are not unusual for this period, relatively early in the popularisation of gents’ wristwatches, before the circular case had become so dominant. 

The clean, block numerals are indicative of the Art Deco period in which the dial was designed, as is the logo, which had only been recently introduced when this watch was made in 1930. The simple line of the rectangular gold border, and the minute marks outside, evoke the lines of modernist architecture.
