An understated GMT watch designed for the international traveller.

CASE

The Redcliff Continental featured an elegant and slim 38mm round case. Machined from 316L stainless steel in Switzerland, the case had a high polish finish to all surfaces.

Measuring just 8.5mm thin, the Redcliff Continental was designed to slip under a shirt cuff easily with its flat sapphire crystal.

DIAL

The Redcliff Continental was offered in three elegant dials colours; Jetliner White, Fears Blue and Passport Red.

All three colours featured a high-gloss surface with a crisp black and white printing. Contrasting with the glossy base was a globe emblem picked out in matte finishing and evoking the jet-age.

The Redcliff Continental featured the same unique shape of hour marker as the Redcliff Date. With two oversized markers, one at 3 o’clock for the date and a second at 6 o’clock for a second time zone.

The oval shape of this luminous ‘GMT window’ was inspired by the shape of the oval country stickers attached to the rear of cars when motoring on the continent. The disc inside this window displayed a second, independently adjusted, 24 hour time zone.

Each dial colour was produced in a low run of just 50 pieces each.

HANDS

The Redcliff Continental used the distinctive ‘Fears’-shaped hands. Painted in a deep, gloss black, the hour and minute hands were filled with Super-LumiNova luminous materials to help with reading the time in the dark.

The central seconds hand was painted in either black or white to match the printing and included a micro ‘Pipette’ as its counterbalance.

MOVEMENT

The Redcliff Continental was powered by an all metal, Swiss made, quartz Ronda 515.24D movement. Supremely accurate and reliable, the Ronda 515.24D is an extremely rare movement and at launch the Redcliff Continental was the only watch available for sale utilising it.

STRAP

Each Redcliff Continental was paired with a strap from our Goat’s Leather strap collection. The Redcliff Date has a 20mm lug width and is designed to fit all of the straps in our range, which you can easily fit yourself without tools.

INDIVIDUALLY NUMBERED

Each watch we make carries a unique serial number. Engraved on the case back at 12 o’clock, this number helps us identify your watch and its history.
