Hand built in England.

- Strap: Brown, Alcantara®, handmade
- Bracelet: 3-link, stainless steel bracelet with screw links and fold-over clasp with micro-adjust
- Movement: LJP G101, time only, automatic, 68hr power reserve
- Water Resistance: 150 metres (15 ATM)
CASE
The Redcliff 39.5 is housed in a contemporary round case with integrated lugs alongside a screw-down case back, bezel and crown. Spanning 39.5mm in diameter yet with a case thickness of only 9.98mm, this slim case combines a bushed middle-section with the polished finish of the bezel's graceful profile. The proportions of the case and its integrated lugs help ensure the watch will perfectly fit the contours of any wrist.
CASEBACK
The Redcliff 39.5 Sherbert Yellow comes with the option of either:
- Open exhibition caseback - offering an unobstructed view of the finely decorated movement (and custom Fears Blue rotor adorned with the Bristol flower).
- Closed caseback - offering the perfect canvas for personalisation with a custom engraving (please discover engraving options here).
DIAL
The Redcliff 39.5 Pastel Collection have been realised without the date function for perfect symmetry and it's applied batons are coated in a matte white varnish.
The Sherbert Yellow features a lighter yellow matte-lacquer inner dial and a darker yellow outer dial with a white printed minute track (and the subtle inclusion of lume on each of the 5-minute numerals). Taking its inspiration from the tangy sherbert confectionary loved by many as a child (and adult!).
HANDS
The Redcliff 39.5 Sherbert Yellow's distinctive ‘Fears’-shaped hands are tri-bevelled and painted in a matte white varnish (thus matching the baton hour markers) to provide the greatest contrast (and legibility) against the vibrancy of the dial. The hour and minute hands have then been filled with Grade A Super-LumiNova.
MOVEMENT
The Redcliff 39.5 is powered by a customised Swiss-made, automatic La Joux-Perret G101 movement. Winding itself when worn on the wrist this movement features a quick-set date, a generous power reserve of 68 hours and a decorated winding rotor.
STRAP
The Redcliff 39.5 Sherbert Yellow is offered on a handmade Flax Alcantara® strap, this unique khaki shade and texture tonally matches the minute track whilst perfectly complementing the main section of the dial.
Alcantara® (a cutting-edge material developed in Italy) offers unrivalled aesthetic, technical and tactile qualities. Whilst being similar to suede, it is far more hard-wearing (and crucially, is also water-resistant) and in addition to being commonly found in the interiors of luxury sports cars it offers excellent properties as a watch strap.
Lined in a premium anti-allergenic calf leather in our signature Fears Blue and embossed with both our logo and ‘Handmade in Belgium’. This is both soft and comfortable and will extend the lifetime of your strap. Both straps are finished with Fears' bespoke pin buckle (featuring the Fears Cypher).
Customise
You can customise your Redcliff 39.5 with any strap designed for a 20mm lug width, including any strap from our range, which you can easily fit yourself without tools.
BRACELET
The Redcliff 39.5 Sherbert Yellow can also be fitted to a bespoke stainless steel 3-link bracelet with expertly brushed and polished links.
Featuring solid screw links, the bracelet combines brushed and polished elements and has a substantial feel while the silky-smooth movement of the links ensure a comfortable fit around the wrist. The bracelet can be adjusted for a perfect fit with both 6mm and 8mm screw links but also adjusted 'on the move' via a push button micro-adjustment featured located within the trigger-release fold-over clasp. This ensures a comfortable fit always.
The perfect fit
We can adjust the bracelet size for you before sending it. Please contact us by email with your order number and wrist size and we’ll do the rest. We will provide any spare links in an envelope with your watch.
INDIVIDUALLY NUMBERED
Each watch we make carries a unique serial number. Engraved between the 20mm lugs at 12 o’clock, this number helps us identify your watch and its history.
AMOS BOX
All Fears watches are presented in a slim, rectangular, wooden box made of solid ash and stained in our bespoke shade of blue. This luxury box was inspired by traditional slim Fears watch boxes used in the past, in which the watch lies flat. Recognising the company's heritage, we called this box the Amos, after the names of both the 2nd and 3rd Managing Directors.
The top of the box is discreetly engraved with the Fears logo and features a gentle bevel around its edges, whilst the interior is lined in genuine cream suede. The box is secured by a polished chrome push button, keeping your watch safe and secure.
ENGRAVED PERSONAL TO YOU
Fears offers an engraving service whereby a watch can be made personal to its new owner. We work with one of the UK's leading 3D laser engravers who can engrave initials, a date, or a special verse on your watch.
