Our straps are meticulously handcrafted by a family-run atelier in Belgium specialising in beautiful, premium watch straps.  

Material

Apple leather is a vegan leather-like material that is completely free from animals. It is a relatively new material (first 'created' in 2019) and offers an animal-free alternative to conventional watch straps often manufactured from animal hides.

This is a bio-based material, meaning that is partly biological (approximately 50%) and partly synthetic. In certain parts of northern Italy a tremendous amount of apples are grown and it is the waste product from these that are crushed, dried and then blended with a resin to create this amazing material.

Colour

Casual and warm, this could be the perfect weekend strap.

Surface Finish

Apple leather is extremely durable, hard-wearing and has been developed with a grained finish (to mimic bovine leather) but still retains the same soft and luxurious feel.

Lining

Lined in cork and embossed with both our logo and ‘Handmade in Belgium’, the lining helps ensure this strap is 100% animal-free.

Buckle

Fastened with a 16mm stainless steel pin buckle engraved with a Fears logo dating from 1930.
