Our straps are meticulously handcrafted by a family-run atelier in Belgium specialising in beautiful, premium watch straps.

Leather

Handcrafted from premium British calf hides and vegetable tanned in our historic home city of Bristol by Thomas Ware & Sons. Britain’s oldest vegetable tanner, Thomas Ware & Sons was founded in 1840, six years before Fears. Our Bristol leather strap restores a working relationship that began in the last century.

Colour

Presented in Chocolate Brown, a warm, rich brown reminiscent of milk chocolate. The incredible depth of the colour is due to the natural vegetable tanning process.

Surface Finish

This leather’s surface has a subtle glow that highlights its depth of colour. Just like leather seats in classic cars, Bristol Leather ‘polishes’ itself over time, ripening into a soft luminance. A distinct characteristic of how this particular colour is achieved means that it will patina, and on sections such as the keepers it takes on a lovely light tone the more it is worn.

Lining

Lined with genuine Alcantara, in our signature Fears Blue, and embossed with both our logo and ‘Bristol Leather’. Alcantara is a premium, Italian-made, synthetic suede. Soft, extremely comfortable, but highly resistant to wear, it is commonly used for the seats and interior trim in sports cars.

Buckle

Fastened with a premium version of our 16mm stainless steel pin buckle, which has our pipette logo deeply engraved, using a three-dimensional laser engraving technique that makes it look as if it has been carefully chiselled out.

Size

Designed to fit all Fears Redcliff and Brunswick watches, this strap will also fit any watch with a 20mm lug width.

The strap is available in two sizes:

• Standard fits wrists measuring 178 - 210mm (approx.)
• Shorter fits wrists measuring 164 - 197mm (approx.)

Fit yourself

Featuring Quick-Release spring bars, our straps can be fitted and removed from the watch using no tools. This means you can change it over in a matter of moments with no hassle.
